Most days I don’t brush my hair, I just pull it up. Most days I forget to pee. I take a shower a few times a week and wash my hair maybe twice. I can’t remember if I’ve had breakfast or lunch. I don’t wear deodorant. I tell people it’s because of the aluminum, but really I’d forget to put it on anyways. My kids are usually dressed decently and, if I’m lucky, their hair is brushed when we leave for school in the morning. I drink beer at night and watch Netflix.
I am busy and all over the place. When I had a full time job, I was insane. I no longer work outside of the house and somehow it still seems just as crazy. We have three kiddos now and the three more coming will just add to the already chaotic life. What we know now is our normal. What is to come will be as well! God told us to leap and we fell hard in love with three more.
I love this verse found in Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
